By accessing or using MyBabyLogBook ("the app", "the service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
These Terms apply to all users of the service, including users of the free tier and subscribers to MyBabyLogBook Pro.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use MyBabyLogBook. By using the app, you confirm that you are 18 or older.
The app is designed for parents, guardians, and caregivers to log information about infants in their care. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the app is appropriate for your circumstances.
To access cloud features (partner sync, backup, and Pro features), you must create an account using a valid email address or Google account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that are used in a manner that harms other users or the service.
The free tier of MyBabyLogBook allows you to log sleep, feeds, nappy changes, and pump sessions locally on your device. Free features include:

MyBabyLogBook Pro is a paid subscription that unlocks additional features including partner sync, auto cloud backup, and PDF reports.

The current price of Pro is £2.99 per month (inclusive of any applicable VAT). Prices may change with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

We do not offer refunds except where required by law (for example, under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you may be entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period for digital subscriptions if you have not begun using the digital content). The information logged in the app is provided by you for your own reference. It should not be used to diagnose, treat, or manage any medical condition. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding your baby's health.
The app's summaries and charts are for informational convenience only. We make no guarantee as to their accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose.
All log data you enter into the app belongs to you. We do not claim any ownership over your data.
By syncing data to Firebase, you grant us a limited licence to store and transmit that data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. This licence ends when you delete your data or close your account.
You are responsible for maintaining backups of your own data. We provide backup features as a convenience but do not guarantee against data loss. We strongly recommend using the export feature regularly.
We aim to keep MyBabyLogBook available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or factors outside our control (such as Firebase or Cloudflare outages).

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyBabyLogBook is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted, or that any defects will be corrected.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.
The MyBabyLogBook name, logo, design, and code are our intellectual property. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the app without our express written permission.
Your log data belongs to you. See section 8 above.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and display a notice in the app.
Continued use of the app after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you should stop using the app and, if applicable, cancel your subscription.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
